About Chris Blackburn

Chris is currently the Senior Corporate Development Manager for GZA GeoEnvironmental’s Corporate Development Group and is principally responsible for corporate and business development activities in the Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, and New England regions. Mr. Blackburn also assumes responsibility for support of the management and integration of GZA’s Industrial/Manufacturing, Power, Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Institutional, Public/Federal, and Contractor Support Client Sectors with both the Geotechnical and Environmental Core Service groups and Regional office leadership. Mr. Blackburn specializes in developing prospective and emerging client development, and client account management programs. Prior to joining GZA, Chris was a founder and Principal of Gemini Geotechnical Associates, Inc, 19••••08, directing all of the firm\'s activities related to business development, administrative management, and geotechnical field services including instrumentation and laboratory services. Mr. Blackburn’s 35 years of experience includes all aspects of geotechnical and environmental administration and project management, environmental remediation, geotechnical instrumentation, field monitoring, and laboratory testing. Prior to the formation of Gemini, Chris also worked in technical capacities for Haley & Aldrich in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he joined the firm after completing a cooperative education program and his Civil Engineering studies at Northeastern University.
