About Chris Godfrey
I started promoting and booking coliseum concerts in 1998 and slowly made my way towards booking nightclubs as well. Now I\'m the Business Development Manager of GForce Engineering & Technology. Now I place engineers, project managers, and others into great jobs across the nation and worldwide. For a few years I ran my own entertaniment biz called Change presents LLC, which focuses on Vegas nightlife promotions, talent bookings and special events. We opened 1 Oak as the only contracted promotions team, as well as having a promotions account with Revolution at the Mirage. We also produced events and booked talent for Vanity (Hard Rock) and Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay). From 2009- Aug 2011 I was the Dir. of Talent for Talent Guru Agency - Las Vegas based booking agency which was a division of Nightlife Guru. Included in this position I was the Talent Buyer for the Rio (VooDoo/VooDoo Beach, iBar, etc.) during this time. We also handled promotions, hosting and DJ bookings for the Matt Goss show (Caesar\'s) and Caesar\'s Neptune pool. We produced the best event in VooDoo/Rio history with over in sales on New Year\'s Eve 2010 on a budget around $7,500. I was also a Soled Out Productions partner from \'08-\'11, producing Soled Out Wednesdays old school mashup, Latin Libido Sunday\'s, Solid Gold mashup Sunday\'s, and numerous other special events. Our \"off-night\" weekly productions averaged over on a budget around $750.
