Forever Manchester is the charity for people with a passion for Greater Manchester. We put money back into our communities so that we can all be proud of where we live. We raise money to help people improve the quality of life in their neighbourhoods. We are dedicated to strengthening local communities, connecting people and creating opportunities. We bring together dynamic community projects with local people, philanthropists and successful businesses – matching talents and skills allows new initiatives to prosper.KEY FACTSThere are over grassroots community projects in Greater Manchester.In the last 3 years, we have supported 2,472 of them.Last year, 220,306 people benefited directly from services or projects made possible by our support and funding.In 2011/12, we awarded £2.7 million in awards.WHO WE HELPOur support covers a cross section of the whole of Greater Manchester from the very young through to the very old. We help communities to make a difference by assisting health and well-being projects, the environment, education and skills, arts, culture and heritage, and tackling disadvantage and exclusion. Our support allows these groups to survive and to thrive; without it, many would cease to exist.In order to continue to support our communities across the region, we need to attract much-needed funds from local businesses and individuals who share our passion for where we live.For more information please visit
