I am a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer/ Engineering Geologist with over 17 years’ experience, having worked on various ground engineering and multidisciplinary projects both in the UK and overseas. I have strong technical, practical and communication skills. I work as part of a design team undertaking all aspects of pile design, embedded retaining walls, sheet piles, soil nails and other specialist geotechnical works. My work has also included leading a team of engineers in supporting the geotechnical Expert Witness for a legal project and working in a team for a large development project in Saudi Arabia.I have experience in design of a soil nailed slopes and nailed retaining walls, landslide assessments, slope analysis, design and site supervision of landslide remedial works, design and repair of flood defences, site supervision and technical support for ground investigations, geotechnical design of embedded retaining walls and general foundation design. My strengths lie in my broad knowledge base, varied experience, interest in all aspects of engineering, attention to detail and ability to think practically.
