Chris Bacoulis has been opening doors in real estate since 2005, but his story starts long before then. Born and raised in New Jersey, Chris moved “way too many times” up and down the East Coast before finally landing in Connecticut in 1993. It’s here he met his wife, Markell, and where they now call Shelton home with their two daughters, two cats, and a dog.Before real estate, Chris built a career as a creative director in both the soccer and fashion industries. From working with powerhouse clubs like AC Milan, Manchester United, and Chelsea to collaborating with global brands like Mountain Dew, Pepsi, and Ice-T, he saw first-hand what passion, drive, and vision can achieve on a world stage. Today, he brings that same energy to every client and every transaction.Licensed in real estate since 2005, Chris quickly rose through the ranks. Within just two years, he became a managing partner of a local office and went on to open multiple successful brokerages—even during one of the toughest housing markets in history. Along the way, he led 70+ agents, launched innovative training and incentive programs, and helped shape corporate branding and growth strategies. His leadership extended beyond the office as well, serving as President of his local REALTOR® board in 2013, a state director with CTR, and co-founder of YEP (now FEUL), a young professionals group through his local chamber of commerce. In 2023, Chris was honored as Realtor of the Year by the Bridgeport Board of REALTORS®, a recognition of his dedication to the profession and community.Never one to stop learning, Chris added his mortgage license in 2024 to give clients an even more complete experience—whether buying, selling, or investing, he can guide them through the full process with confidence and clarity.Today, Chris leads Realty ONE Group Connect with offices in South Norwalk and Monroe, CT.
