ABOUT CHRIS SHAW
I’m a motion graphic designer animator, specialising in 2D and 3D animation with over a decade of industry experience. I’ve worked on a huge range of advertising, broadcast, web and mobile based projects. From storyboarding to final sign off, I’m comfortable working from the initial brief all the way to the end of a project. At degree level, I studied Graphic Design with Typography at Plymouth University. This was an important stage of my education, exploring typography, colour theory, layout and also conceptual thinking. Also I studied Graphic Design at College. The course was undoubtably one of the best in the country and really shaped me as the designer I am today. Although both courses focused on print and digital design and branding, these skills underpin each and every single project I work on.
