I\'m a researcher interested in understanding the genetic roots of complex disease. Within this space, my specific interests involve using machine learning and statistical inference to solve important problems in functional, statistical, and population genomics. I\'m a proponent of open source software and improving software engineering within the life sciences; I create software packages for researchers in R, Python, C++, and Rust but have interests outside of work in modern web development, playing with microcontrollers, and whatever else I think is interesting!
