   Lead a team of professionals responsible for oversight of all default servicing activities performed by USAA\'s sub-servicer. Responsible for oversight of loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, property preservation, real estate owned (REO), and investor/insurer claim filing activities • Responsible for effectively identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling risks associated with servicing activities for a subserviced portfolio consisting of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, HELOC, and home equity loans • Establish service level agreements and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to aid in the early identification of risk trends• Developed an extensive suite of oversight dashboards and exception reports to strengthen USAA’s sub-servicer oversight program, resulting in the establishment of a near real-time control environment, reduction in oversight testing defects, and improved sub-servicer performance• Implemented a process improvement to automate the identification of defects in cases where invoiced default-related fees and costs surpass investor or insurer allowable limits, reducing losses to USAA• Engage with stakeholders and risk partners across all lines of defense to proactively assess and address emerging risks • Responsible for issue management activities including timely identification, resolution, and remediation to mitigate risk to USAA and its members
