Chris specialises in UK housebuilders within Lloyds Bank’s Corporate & Institutional Banking division. He leads the banking relationships with listed and private housebuilders across the UK, with a focus on long-term partnerships, deep sector expertise, and delivering strategic funding and advisory solutions across the breadth of the bank’s capabilities. Previously, Chris led the national origination and sustainability activities within Lloyds Banks Housing team. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth across the housing portfolio, supporting clients in their transition to a low-carbon economy, and structuring sustainability and ESG financing solutions. Chris serves on the Executive Committee for NextGeneration, the leading sustainability benchmark for UK housebuilders, alongside Homes England and the UK Green Building Council. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Regeneration Brainery, a not-for-profit organisation focused on improving social mobility across the property sector.In addition, Chris leads Lloyds Bank’s wider regional Corporate Banking team in the North West, overseeing the support for corporate clients with turnovers exceeding £100 million across the range of industry sectors. With over 15 years’ experience in corporate banking, Chris has developed trusted relationships with mid-market companies, large corporates, and privately-owned and equity-backed businesses. Chris is passionate about helping Lloyds Bank deliver on its purpose of shaping finance as a force for good, supporting an inclusive, resilient and sustainable future for communities and businesses across the UK.
