   Walker has been around for nearly 80 years and has always had a role in helping companies better understand customer needs and desires to drive business success. In its first days, Walker was a pioneer in product research. Now, we are a global consulting firm working with many of the world’s top companies. Today, Walker is a Customer Experience (CX) consulting company that focuses on transforming its clients by working with them to create a differentiated customer experience. We conducted a study called Customers 2020 and found that by the year 2020 (and it is already happening), companies will be forced to distinguish themselves based on customer experience. My role focuses on working with clients to help create organizational change that leads to the sustained competitive advantage that comes from an optimized customer experience. I primarily work in a business development role to identify if a company’s needs are the right fit for Walker’s skills and expertise. My current role covers four distinct areas-Lead business development activities for Walker\'s core products-Manage merger and acquisition customer due diligence projects along with some business development responsibility-Lead Walker\'s employee engagement consulting practice-Lead Walker\'s SMB consulting practice.
