In this post the following roles are performed:• Provide strategic direction and inspirational leadership for recruitment, admissions, and educational engagement initiatives across the Faculty; develop and implement inclusive recruitment strategies in collaboration with student recruitment, marketing, communications and faculty services teams.• Work with the Head of Strategy and Planning to forecast student enrolment numbers as part of the University Planning cycle.• Chair the Faculty Recruitment and Engagement Committee; analyse and report on recruitment and admissions performance to support strategic decision-making• Foster collaborative relationships with schools, colleges, and community organizations to expand educational opportunities; represent the Faculty at recruitment events, open days, and school outreach visits.• Work closely with academic and professional staff as well as external partners to deliver recruitment and engagement goals.

ABOUT CHRIS WILCOX
As the Associate Dean of Student Experience, I bring a history of contributing to higher education, coupled with extensive experience in senior leadership, teaching, and clinical roles. My role involves providing strategic guidance for all activities related to Student Experience within the Faculty. Collaborating closely with fellow Associate Deans, I play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment with the University\'s vision, mission, strategic objectives, KPIs, and values.I hold the responsibility for assuring the quality of the student experience within the Faculty of Health Sciences, orchestrating the delivery and promotion of institutional goals. To achieve this, I offer support to Heads of School, Programme Directors, and Lecturers, fostering consistency, innovation, and the dissemination of best practices in student experience.Monitoring both institutional and Faculty KPIs, I exhibit leadership by implementing and overseeing effective plans to meet and exceed these benchmarks. This collaborative effort extends to working closely with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, the Dean of the Faculty, and other Associate Deans across the University.Additionally, I lead on admissions activities throughout the Faculty, monitoring and assessing student enrolment targets ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enhancing the overall efficacy of our admissions initiatives. This also involves managing admissions processes such as clearing, open days, and offer holder days. My commitment lies in ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for students while contributing to the overall success of the Faculty and the University.
