Managing team to oversee all outbound transportation processes for Sanford Distribution Center as well as 3PL locations. Oversight includes but not limited to Truckload, LTL and parcel carrier negotiations, freight accrual reporting to adhere to annual transportation budget, DC compliance with all modes of Hazardous Goods shipping under IATA, IMDG and DOT regulations across both prepaid and collect customer base, alignment with Customer Demand Management and Customer Service departments to ensure all ‘on-time’ and customer shipping window requirements are met. Working closely with the entire supply chain to act as a liaison between all global forwarders and Planning/Purchasing departments. Heavily involved in Vendor Compliance fine reductions and various cost reduction initiatives such as use of rail and mode shifts. Will be a key Americas Lead in startup of 4PL relationship with our new Lead Logistics Provider. Other responsibilities include establishing monthly carrier base meetings to develop scorecard and shipping KPI’s to meet ‘on-time’ shipping goals, ‘on-time’ delivery goals, Maintaining all carrier rates, mode specifications and customer profiles in Legacy and Galleria Transportation Management Systems and WM\'s. Additional responsibilities include creation, oversight and execution of department personnel development and training plans as well as managing all team daily activities.
