I have over 26 years of experience within the Finance Team at Verizon. Over those years I have led teams specializing in Bill to Cash activities inclusive of project management, contract billing, systems development, contract negotiations/review, equipment leasing and revenue assurance. I’ve taken on continuous new challenges in a career that has seen positions of increased responsibility and I continue to welcome new opportunities. Finally, I have helped spearhead multiple acquisition integrations; driving efficiencies and improved controls with each one. I’ve worked closely with numerous groups within the Company inclusive of Sales/Service, Marketing, Legal, Pricing, FP & A, Revenue Accounting and IT.    I am currently leading organizations that support multiple facets of our operations. Our traffic mediation team reviews over 3B records monthly to ensure that services at the very start of the billing cycle are captured correctly and flow through our systems appropriately. This would include calls captured via a switch, data from various solution points or information received from third-party vendors. This team has a critical role in protecting our revenue stream and continuing to do so as new products and services are rolled out or changes to our various systems are made.Our revenue assurance team picks up that traffic data as it reaches our billing architecture as well as captures data across our contracting, ordering, provisioning and billing platforms. Their goal is to drive 100% invoicing accuracy for our customers and accelerate cash flow for the company. It is an extremely complex role that requires strong technical skills and a solid understanding of our end to end processes. This is a group that has embraced advancements in digital solutions and improvements in the areas of analytics and visualization to drive process and revenue acceleration benefits to the company.Finally, the order to cash team supporting our VZ Connect entity is focused on driving efficiency and accuracy improvements across this landscape. With multiple components to this area of the business, driven by acquisitions, the team is working on both system and process consolidations. We have a PMO focused on the implementation of a new, consolidated ERP instance that is critical to driving benefits. In the meantime, the teams are focused on ensuring timely and accurate order processing through to invoice delivery to help meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
