My teams have successfully developed over $9 BN in assets over the past 25 years, all on time and within budget. Most of these projects have included “industry firsts”, setting the new bars for project execution within their industries.My areas of specialty are:Energy Development I have managed the development of offshore oil & gas, utility-scale power plant and behind the meter clean energy solutions totaling over $9 BN in asset value.Carbon Capture Solutions I have recently focused on the development of carbon capture solutions in California and the US Gulf Coast. I have established strong relationships with the majority of green/blue hydrogen OEM’s and utilization and sequestration offtakers, with a focus on developing Low-CI score solutions for Scope 2 & 3 emissions.International Development I have directly managed project development and execution teams in the US, South Korea, Singapore, Brazil, and West Africa. Located in Asia immediately post-911 and during the SARS epidemic, I have a deep understanding of how to deliver results while navigating life-changing events and keeping my team members safe.Construction Management I have managed construction teams from workers, responsible for all progress, EHS and QA/QC functions on these sites. I’ve always taken a “boots on the ground” approach, knowing what is happening on my projects because I see the progress and the people with my own eyes, rather than from reports. This has served me well through the years.Solution Development I am an “outside the box” thinker, with a keen memory of various solutions and processes that I have learned throughout the years. This now helps my teams to develop ingenious and efficient solutions to today’s problems.Nuclear Development Participated on the quality control and assurance development team for the Comanche Peak Power Plant Units 3 & 4 and was slotted as the construction manager for the South Texas Power Project Units 3 & 4 up to its canceling.

   Serving as Chief Operations Officer, Chris cofounded Outlier energy to deliver technology-agnostic microgrid solutions to C&I customers. Chris is directly responsible for all project development and execution functions, project and corporate P/L, technology go-to market strategies, customer engagement and contracting. During his tenure at Outlier, the organization achieved the following successes:• Developed a carbon capture road map, including product line strategies for carbon capture implementation, engagement with customers and OEM’s to define price, performance guarantees, offering, and regulatory support for sequestration operations and development of overall P&L goals for a private equity portfolio company.• Worked with Bloom Energy to develop their carbon capture service offering, drove a cross-functional team to improve the full product offering, including engineering support, product servicing, upstream and downstream contracting, and tax equity support.• Developed and managed strong development relationships with key private equity firms in the energy space, including Apollo, Ares, and Macquarie. Has a keen understanding of third-party project finance, tax equity and project underwriting.• Established a solid reputation as being able to develop profitable solutions where other firms usually failed. Drove multi-technology applications and innovative contracting solutions to squeeze value out of opportunity.While building Outlier Energy’s consulting services, Chris developed a detailed working knowledge of all the distributed energy products on the market. Chris developed a data-driven approach to system development, establishing an in-depth working history with each technology in every application. Chris is highly comfortable and capable working behind a spreadsheet, delivering at a board meeting, building a remote monitoring system in his garage, presenting to an industry group or commissioning a multi-technology microgrid.
