ABOUT CHRIS WATSON GUNBY
With over 35 years experience in the catering and hospitality sector, I am very passionate about the food we produce throughout the BaxterStorey business.With a career starting at a 2 Rosette hotel and restaurant in the East Midlands was the platform I needed to push on into a career that has taken me up and down the country working in various restaurants, hotels, conference centres and theatres. I have also created menus for OK magazine and have worked in marketing producing foods for food styling photo shoots for retail packaging.My belief is that we should always where possible use seasonal local produce when it is at its best and our position in the North West offers an extremely wide range of excellent foods on our doorstep to take advantage of.I am a passionate trainer and leader both in the kitchen and with apprenticeships and outside of the kitchen I enjoy teaching food safety and health and safety and sharing the trends and business objectives with my colleagues.
