ABOUT CHRIS WARD

I work as an English teacher specialising in all aspects of Business English for French learners. I have taught English for companies including Dell, IBM, Alstom, H&M, Ubisoft, AstraZeneca and more. Since 2010 I\'ve been teaching English in the Languedoc region, and taught both English and Professional Restaurant and Hotel Culture at the Vatel International Business School of Hotel & Tourism Management. It was voted the best Hotel Business Management School in the world, 20••••17 and I was voted the school\'s best teacher for 2017. I left Vatel in 2022 to become a teacher at the Montpellier Business School, teaching Bachelor and Masters students. I worked for 25 years as a journalist and author, writing for most British national newspapers and authoring six books. I worked as a feature writer, technology specialist and columnist most recently for The Times of London. I left journalism to become a cook in Provence, South of France, graduating top of my class from the Avignon Ecole d\'Hotellerie. I went on to cook for a number of prestigious restaurants around Provence, as well as spending two years cooking for private individuals, including a number of celebrities, all over Europe. I was born in Atherstone, Warwickshire.
