About Chris Walker
I am the manager of the bp Carbon Capture and Storage Center of Expertise.I lead a team of CCS specialists that drive knowledge transfer across the organization, enabling the next generation of CCS and H2 projects that will enable deep decarbonization of industrial complexes for bp and our customers, stakeholders and communities. I work with our business development team to provide customer-focused solutions that can unlock value at scale. I also interact with researchers, landowners, regulators and policy makers to ensure the safe, secure and reliable development of carbon storage facilities at a pace and scale that benefits all stakeholders and allows CCUS to deliver the CO2 emission reductions needed to meet the IEA targets. I have a passion for the integration of diverse datasets and the effective communication of risks and uncertainties that impact business decisions.

We work with policy makers and relevant stakeholders to provide factual information, and enable the development of projects that are beneficial to host communities.
