Functions as the hands-on technical operations support for Design & Deployment Engineering by executing system commissioning and research lab tasks. • Works alongside Deployment Engineers to deploy systems in the commissioning phase of projects by managing tasks such as specialized equipment setup, configuration, and burn-in. • Develops punch lists and Work with Design Engineering on research of new AV technologies. • Assists with demo, proof of concept, and testing based on assigned new technologies • Completes analysis reports based on research results, demos, POC, and test findings. • Assists with design team on system design reviews and bill of materials review • Under supervision of the design engineers, research and deploy small-scale tactical solutions to customers. • Provides support for logistics related tasks such as equipment shipping, receiving, and transport between campus/offices/warehouse • Maintains documentation such as internal project tools and trackers, documentation, and weekly updates. • Maintains detailed organization of lab space to ensure component/systems test repeatability • Safeguards manufacturer owned demo equipment to ensure the chain of custody and complete equipment returns with proper documentation. • Innovates and enhances reliability, functionality, and quality of AV systems.
