About Chris Travers
Born and raised in the Bay Area I developed an early love of nature and channeled that love into the biological sciences as I became older. While staying near Muir Woods and the Marin Headlands for my education seemed ideal, my passion and success in lacrosse drove me to Connecticut College to play Division lacrosse and study Biochemistry. Prior to college, I developed my leadership skills as a two-time captain of the Tamalpais high school lacrosse team along with being a 2-time USA Lacrosse All-American. My drive to grow the game of lacrosse was funneled into my personal training business and volunteering at youth lacrosse clinics. Off the field, I approach life with a curiosity-driven mindset always looking for something new to learn from biological ethics to documentary filmmaking. As our world shifts out of the binary computer coding age and into an age of utilizing the code of life I hope I can take part and help the people around me through biotechnology.
