Loughborough Schools Foundation comprises a Nursery, Fairfield (co-ed Prep), Loughborough High School (girls) and Loughborough Grammar School (boys) all on one purpose built site. Each school has its own identity and traditions and educates 1750 pupils and employs more than 700 staff.As CEO, I line manage and am responsible for the Heads, Bursar, External Engagement Director, Head of Governance, Director Development, Head of HR and Foundation Director of Sport. I report directly to the Chair of Governors and the Board and am in post to lead, inspire and set the strategic direction of the Foundation to ensure its future success, effectiveness and sustainability.Key responsibilities include-strategic leadership-safeguarding-senior team leadership and management-governance and accountability-marketing and communication-stakeholder engagement-programme/ curriculum development, implementation-innovation and adaption-monitoring and evaluation-legal and compliance.LSF can trace its roots back to 1495, reflects upon its history with pride, but looks to the present and beyond as a progressive family of schools and a cornerstone of the Leicestershire community in a thriving University town.This role brings about a period of development which is signified by a unified Foundation strategy that supports growth, encourages innovation and ensures the most effective use of shared resources in order to deliver a top class 21st century education to its pupils. This structure will deliver a single-point of executive leadership, decision-making ensuring governance will become streamlined and agile and enabling the Foundation to respond dynamically and with confidence to both opportunities and challenges.
