ABOUT CHRIS SIOKIS

About Me I’ve always been drawn to problem-solving, especially when things are unclear or a bit messy. In my work, that usually means helping businesses make sense of financial risk and figure out what actually matters vs. what’s just noise. A big part of how I work is pretty simple: be direct, ask good questions, and don’t overcomplicate things. If there’s a real issue, I want to understand it properly. If there isn’t, that’s just as useful to know. I also care a lot about the relationship side of the job. The best conversations I’ve had (and the best outcomes) come from being straightforward and actually trying to understand how someone thinks, not just what they do. Background I come from a science and engineering background, which is probably where I picked up the habit of breaking things down and thinking in systems. That’s carried over pretty naturally into risk management. Over time, I’ve gotten comfortable working through complex or ambiguous situations and turning them into something more practical and usable. A lot of what I do is just helping people see things more clearly so they can make better decisions. I’ve also always been curious by default, whether that’s digging into new tools, learning something random and niche, or just trying to understand how something works under the hood. It’s made me pretty adaptable, especially in environments that don’t sit still for long. Outside of Work Outside of work, I’m usually active, exploring, hiking, anything that gets me out of the house. I tend to enjoy thinking about things deeply, taking on passion projects and having conversations that aren’t surface-level, the kind where you actually leave thinking about something differently.
