As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Enfinity Engineering, I support the design and coordination of electrical systems for renovation and new construction projects throughout Tennessee and beyond. My responsibilities include:• Assisting with demolition, power, lighting, and low-voltage plans while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70, and other relevant NFPA standards • Reviewing and applying statewide and local electrical codes in Tennessee, as well as adapting designs to meet code requirements in other U.S. jurisdictions• Contributing to the production of panel schedules, riser diagrams, and detailed circuiting plans in Revit• Supporting the setup and management of projects in BIM 360, learning best practices for Revit modeling and coordination• Collaborating with architects and MEP teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within existing and proposed building infrastructures• Participating in design reviews and assisting in updates to construction documentationThis internship allows me to deepen my understanding of U.S. electrical codes and standards, while building strong technical skills in Revit, BIM workflows, and real-world engineering coordination.
