ABOUT CHRIS ROSSITER
I am a leader and psychologist working in the not profit civic society sectors. I have established a profile as a credible leader and public advocate, particularly in the education sector. I will use my influence and connections to promote a mission that typically serves disadvantaged young people and their communities, reflecting my own experiences. As a professional I am both values-led and data-driven, leveraging my skills to help build and transform organisations and teams. Away from education I originally trained as an Organisational Psychologist and have worked as consultant on a wide range of projects involving organisational change and design, training and development and EDI. My ability to balance analytical rigour with emotional intelligence are amongst my strongest skills, which also include- Strategic: creating clarity, insights and energy delivering substantial growth and organisational development- Influential: a speaker, thinker, writer, edu-twitter contributor on the national stage (Festival of Education, Westminster Education Forum, Academies Show, keynote speaker at various conferences)- High performer: being brave and holding my nerve in recognising that systemic changes take time to deliver and embed, whilst not sacrificing quality or rigour. I invest time in relationships to instil trust and confidence in my teams. In addition to my day job I am also a Non-Executive Director of Astrea Academy Trust, a school governor and former Chair, fellow of the RSA and member of the British Psychological Society.
