   Chris Powell, CEO of Prosperity Behavioral Health, brings over 35 years of transformative leadership in healthcare. Starting his career with IBM in field sales, Chris later transitioned to IDX Systems Corporation, where he spent 15 years driving growth and innovation as Senior Vice President of Sales. At IDX, he was integral to shaping the company’s go-tomarket, leading an integrated sales team across diverse IT solutions.Following IDX’s acquisition by GE Healthcare, Chris took on the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager for GE Healthcare Americas, overseeing the healthcare IT business across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. He continued his leadership journey as CEO of Precyse, a national leader in health information management and medical coding. Under his leadership, Precyse grew significantly, culminating in its acquisition and the formation of nThrive, a major player in revenue cycle management services.In 2017, Chris pivoted into behavioral health and addiction treatment as CEO of Aspenti Health, where he confronted the disparities in care for those on mental health and recovery journeys. His experience led him to author Unhooked, a book advocating for improved population health strategies in behavioral health. At Aspenti, Chris championed smart technology and advanced analytics to improve outcomes and access to care for Substance Use Disorder and mental health patients.In 2021, Chris joined THINKMD, a global health organization that empowers frontline healthcare workers with clinical decision tools. He successfully led THINKMD’s first global deployment in partnership with Save the Children, scaling vital healthcare technology across developing nations.Now at Prosperity Behavioral Health, Chris continues his mission to enhance care delivery by helping healthcare providers expand services, improve financial outcomes, and leverage data-driven insights to make a lasting impact on the behavioral health landscape.
