ABOUT CHRIS PLOSZ

With over 25 years in home building and land development, I’ve dedicated my career to transforming unique concepts and visions into thriving communities. As President of Section23 Developments and Baywest Homes, I lead a talented team committed to delivering innovative, high-quality homes and communities that elevate the way people live. My journey began with a 16-year tenure at one of Canada\'s leading developers where I honed my expertise in land development and residential housing. In 2015 Section23 Developments was brought to life with a small, dynamic team and a vision for growth. This led to a strategic partnership and eventual full ownership of Baywest Homes in 2019, marking a significant milestone in our evolution as a fully integrated land and housing development company. Over the years, our company has expanded, now employing more than 60 people, and is actively developing our first major development, Section23’s Rangeview—Calgary’s first garden-to-table community, which broke ground in 2020. This project exemplifies our passion for creating sustainable, family-oriented communities that leave a lasting impact. We are actively involved with numerous land development investment opportunities, as well as mixed-use projects in the community of Mahogany. In the community of Marda Loop, we purchased land and led the full development of The Edward – a boutique luxury independent living seniors complex creating a high-quality living experience. My leadership approach centers on innovation, collaboration, and excellence, and I’m always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and investors who share my vision for building the neighborhoods of tomorrow.
