ABOUT CHRIS PITTNER
I have over 35 years extensive experience in projects ranging in nature and complexity from the design of infrastructure for residential, commercial and industrial developments to large scale urban redevelopment masterplanning of infrastructure works. I have particular expertise in SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems), flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling, surface and foul drainage design, licence applications under the Water Environment (Controlled Activities)(Scotland) Regulations 2011 (CAR), 3D ground modelling and highway design. My SUDS experience also includes the production of a national guidance document for Scotland entitled ‘SUDS for Roads’, on behalf of the SUDS Working Party, the Society of Chief Transportation Officers for Scotland (SCOTS) and SEPA. I have worked on a number of projects which have been put forward for the following awards- Engineering Council- Environment Award for Engineers, BP AMOCO Chairman’s Award- Honouring Outstanding Achievements in Health, Safety and Environmental Performance, and SEPA\'s- Habitat Enhancement Initiative Award.
