About Chris Pittman
As an architect with a passion for design technology, I’ve spent the past 20 years shaping the future of architecture through innovation and collaboration. After earning my graduate degree in 2006, I started my career in healthcare architecture before leading the firm through the transition to Autodesk Revit—a milestone that helped lay the foundation for my journey in digital design.In 2010, I made the move to aviation architecture and BIM management, where I worked with a global team of BIM specialists on several high-profile aviation projects. My work in this space has not only been about building structures but also about pushing the limits of technology to improve how we design, collaborate, and execute.I’ve had the privilege of sharing my insights at events like BiLT 2018 ANZ and Autodesk University, and in 2020, I was honored to receive the Collaborator of the Year award from Revizto for my contributions to enhancing project workflows and teamwork.Currently, I’m part of the team at Abstract, where I’m focused on combining my expertise in aviation architecture with cutting-edge design technology. My goal is to drive smarter, more efficient architectural practices that leverage the best of both design and digital tools.
