ABOUT CHRIS PICKRELL

With over 25 years of experience in NDE, QA/QC oversight, vender surveillance, industrial fabrication, heavy construction, nuclear construction, and technique R&D I am an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the application of NDE methods, combined with analytical skills that involve advanced levels of quality inspection and implementing quality assurance programs to ensure compliance to codes, specifications, and contract requirements. I have proactively improved and enhanced the technical proficiency and evaluation skills of inspectors in the heavy construction, petrochemical, energy delivery, and nuclear power industries. In addition, I have been successfully involved with research and development, project management, and quality oversight as they apply to the application of NDE. Over the years, I have effectively handled responsibilities in capital project and operations management, as well as served as a Subject Matter Expert, executing certification and safety programs, NDE level oversight, outage inspection planning and logistics, and NDE process development and implementation.I have worked in fab shops, machine shops, foundries, power generation, refining, upstream, and petrochemical facilities worldwide. I have significant experience as a radiation safety officer, and relative to quality programs as defined by NQA-1, NADCAP, ISO 17025, and AS 9100.
