ABOUT CHRIS PARR
I am an award-winning education journalist with more than a decade of experience working for national magazines and newspapers. As reporter and then digital editor of Times Higher Education, I worked across the magazine\'s print and online platforms, and oversaw all the editorial aspects of its digital and social media presence. Before that I was news reporter and news editor for national education newspaper SecEd.Since February 2018 I have been freelance. In this capacity I am assistant editor (HE) at Research Professional, and write regularly for the Times Educational Supplement. I have also contributed articles to Children and Young People Now, PIE News, Headteacher Update and Research Fortnight. My stories have been picked up by a range of national and international publications including the Times, the Guardian, the Mirror, the Daily Mail, the Independent, i News, the BBC, ITV and Private Eye.I am a LinkedIn Influencer with followers, and regularly blog in this role, writing mainly about education and social media. I also blog for the World Economic Forum.
