ABOUT CHRIS PARKER

My story began on the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio - a land of cornfields, faint southern drawls, and the ever-present spirit of The Ohio State Buckeyes. From a young age, I had an insatiable curiosity, constantly reverse-engineering and disasembling anything I could get my hands on, whether it was a toy, a bicycle, or any unfortunate object that crossed my path. When our family got its first Dyson vacuum, the DC01, I couldn’t resist breaking down this new strange carpet cleaning contraption to understand its mechanics. After reconstructing it with newfound insight, I took it door to door in my neighborhood, enthusiastically explaining to anyone who would listen why they needed one of their own. Looking back at this, I now see that it was foreshadowing to my future. Eventually leaving the cornfields behind, I found myself a military veteran with an Ohio State University diploma. With my industrious background, I\'ve gravitated towards building and selling, which brings us to today. As one of the first sales employee\'s at LVT, I’ve spent the last four years building out the education and public sector verticals, helping make the world a safer place through yet another technology contraption I deeply believe in.Beyond my career, I would describe myself as conscientious, competitive and a philomath. I dedicate much of my free time to studying and learning about exercise science, applying that knowledge to improve myself, and support those around me. I organize, structure, track every conceivable metric related to my health-span. Cycling has always brought me a sense of freedom and clarity, evolving through its various disciplines over my life. I spent much of my childhood on two wheels, riding BMX and motocross, and more recently, I\'ve pursued ultra endurance gravel bike racing and trials bike competitions. Beyond all of that, you\'ll find me embracing the wild west in the mountains rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with friends.
