About Chris Oxford
Over 25 years of design and facilitation in a variety of industries, including toy, beverage, packaging, furniture, construction, transportation and energy. Every problem is a design opportunity. My favorite problems are the toughest ones, the unexpected, requiring maximum creativity, determination and teamwork to overcome. Proof of Concept prototype development is my specialty, in order to facilitate rapid iteration, leading to functional discovery and definition. Whether it’s a speculative toy concept, kitchen design mock up, master drawing documentation system, or flow battery component, uncertainty needs to be tested early and often to achieve the best fit as efficiently as possible. Family, wooden sail boats, coffee, old houses and old Volvos keep me going.
