Responsible for designing, developing and delivering multi-million-pound programs of change within the distribution estate to enable scalable growth and reduce the overall cost to serve. Major achievements include:• Leading a team of project managers and operational change champions to deliver both step change and incremental improvement projects to the distribution operating model. Accountable for business cases, governance, financial forecasting and budget delivery of the Programme in a timely manner.• Establishing the distribution transformation strategy to provide clarity on our overall vision and support alignment with other key functions long term plans. This includes defining success factors and visionary roadmaps to gain senior leadership buy in for capital investment. • Owning the distribution innovation pipeline, where new products and technologies are presented and assessed against our overall strategic roadmap. This includes exploring feasibility through use cases and solution trials. This has resulted in many concepts being deployed successfully within the distribution network over the past few years.• Championing a technology squad to deliver innovative and extensive software solutions through an agile methodology to improve warehouse systems and experience for colleagues. This was achieved through a several products of varying complexities from goods in to loading.• Facilitating the design, development, and deployment of automation in distribution depots such as storage and retrieval, zone picking and de-layering solutions. Being accountable for the lifecycle of the projects including solution and vendor selection to embedding the processes into the operating models and realizing the benefits. • A part of the Tesco ‘One Planet’ core team, helping shape the vision of an internal community who are passionate about driving positive environmental change in both work and personal lives.
