Teaching and lecturing the intro Urban Design history class for the Masters of Urban Design program; MUDD 6205 | THE MODERN CITY: THEORIES AND FORMS. This course provides a historical overview of two centuries of urban design - from the early 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century. It focuses on different ideas of urbanism and their impact on the contemporary practice of urban design and development. It investigates cities, built urban areas, and large-scale urban projects resulting from revolutionary ideas of urban design and important theories of urbanism.
