ABOUT CHRIS MURPHY

A high calibre individual with an MBA, I have had a rewarding career as a Royal Navy Submariner who specialised in Operations and Training. I am currently working for Lockheed Martin as a Training Solutions and Systems Engineer supporting major Maritime projects. Prior to this, I have worked for Babcock, where I was formulating Team and Collective Training for the new UAE Naval Training Centre. Former experience with BAE Systems as the Senior TNA analyst involved working with multiple stakeholders on the Trident Submarine Successor Programme; specifically developing the Training Needs for the Strategic Weapon System. I have extensive knowledge and experience of applying the Systems Approach to Training in the Defence, Maritime and Energy Commercial sectors (Lloyds Register). A logical thinker who employs and embraces creativity and innovation, I am a highly effective project / team manager who has managed large scale projects. I am mature, honest and totally reliable with impeccable integrity. A skilled influencer, networker and motivator, I am a certified Work Place Mediator and highly experienced manager, used to working across boundaries and ensuring collaboration at all levels.
