The wild is a place of wonder and adventure, and most of my work revolves around inspiring people to love it and protect it. I’m on a quest to protect wildlife by reaching millions of people with a new kind of optimistic conservation. My main focus has been bears, but also other species (wolves, cougars, tigers). Current organizations include:Host, producer, writer,\'THE WILD with Chris Morgan\' an immersive podcast (now in it\'s 3rd season) that mixes adventure, ecology, and wonder from the natural world. In partnership with NPR-KUOW Seattle, with support from Wildlife Media. Media - a non profit organization I co-founded in 2007 to produce films and campaigns to promote conservation, including the feature-length film BEARTREK which follows my journey to four locations to find bears and the scientists racing to save them. Our work supports their efforts on the ground and emerging conservationists and conservation media people. Host and Narrator for the PBS NATURE series produced by THIRTEEN/WNET.ORG. I have hosted and narrated numerous award-winning films for PBS Nature and other broadcast channels including National Geographic and the BBC.
