Founding partners responsible for design, purchasing and installation of equipment need for all aspects of the distilling and bottling operations using over 30 years of management, design, engineering and mechanical experience-Design and build bottling line that would accommodate a variety of bottle shapes and sizes-Design and build grain process system from distiller\'s mash preparation-Design and build cooking, fermenting and distilling process consisting of 4 stills of various styles and associated equipment to produces 4 barrels of beverage alcohol per day-Design and Complete many of the modifications necessary to convert existing building into a functional distillery-Design and complete modifications to facility and equipment to meet changing needs of distillery-Design and build transfer systems for mash and alcohol between process and tanks-Acquire equipment needed for all aspects of distillery operation-Develop building design and safety plans to insure distillery meets all federal and local regulations-Insure distillery follows guide lines of DISCUS for fire safety-Assist in developing the business plan for the distillery-Prospect customers for contract distilling and bottling operation-Develop and build initial website for distillery-Develop with input of employees proper procedures for distilling and bottling-Develop and institute preventative maintenance program for distillery equipment and property-Responsible for all government compliance-Active with the Kentucky Distillers Association, American Craft Distillers Association and Discus-Provide tours to prospective customers and visitors-Act as distillery ambassador at various functions-Keep up with changing regulations and trends in the beverage alcohol industry-Provide consulting service for various prospective and existing distillers on construction and operations of a distillery

Founding partner of Kentucky Artisan Distillery. KAD has evolved over the past few years as a small contract distiller to a distillery that now produces over barrels per year with current expansion plans to increase to barrels per year. With 5 stills of different styles and sizes we can produce any kind of distilled beverage. There is also a complete automated bottling line that can provide quality package of any type of bottle. There is a complete lab for analyzing and testing the different products produced at the distilling. There is also a collection of personnel with years of experience of in all aspects of the distilling industry. My primary responsibility are to over see the day to day operations and scheduling distillery, warehouse and bottling operation. Also responsible for all government compliance and sales of new business. From day one I have been responsible for the engineering of new processes and equipment to be used in todays operations and operations in the future.
