On Deck Marketing took off running when I recognized members of my own community who were small business owners in need of help. I had a friend who had just gotten burned: A whopping and six weeks of their valuable time was spent waiting on a new website that came back looking more 2004 than 2024! My wife and I had just recently been reflecting on the next chapter in my career, and just like that, I began developing On Deck Marketing. I’ve loved marketing work since I was a kid! I spent days at my Dad\'s furniture store, reorganizing inventory and the store’s layout to figure out what yielded maximum sales. I made signs, suggested advancements where the budget allowed, and even ran my first marketing campaign alongside my high school wrestling team by dawning blaze-orange camouflage hats with the store’s logo during events.Fast forward a few years, and like most marketing folks, I found myself thriving in sales. I embraced my sales journey and learned a lot about how to communicate as both a consumer and a business owner throughout that time. But more importantly, I came to understand how easy it is to be forgotten or to forget someone who isn\'t ready to buy at the moment!When I started On Deck Marketing, my original focus was simply to provide web design and social media management. However, I quickly recognized a growing need among my clients – not just for marketing management from my small business – but also for tools to help them stay relevant to their customers before, during, and after the sale! Businesses need help with scheduling, getting reviews, managing their clients… the list goes on and on.So I thought to myself, why give the proverbial man a fish OR teach him how to fish, when I enjoy doing both? My goal at On Deck Marketing is to meet the diverse needs of our growing, small business community. Whether you’re looking for an easy catch or the skills needed to cast your own net.
