Ensure coordination across five subcommittees to advance the policy priorities of the Ranking Member, Committee members, and the Republican Conference.Determine staff work streams and deliverables based on Ranking Member priorities, leading the coordinated and timely delivery of Committee products to support policy making and agenda setting. Collaborate with the Chief Counsel and the Staff Director to identify priority legislation to advance, scheduling bills for hearings and markups. Coordinate with legislative staff to develop a Committee-wide amendment strategy to force votes on Republican policy priorities during House and Committee proceedings.Coordinate with House Republican leadership to help guide policy objectives and ensure alignment of Committee actions with the broader positions of the Republican Conference. Drive policy efforts across House and Senate Committees, advancing legislative objectives through Congressional authorizations and the budget and appropriations processes. Draw on professional experiences with authorizers, appropriators, and federal agencies to provide strategic guidance and insights to a broad Hill network.Plan and lead the execution of a twice-monthly series of Republican Forums, hearing-like events to provide Republican members of the Committee an opportunity to receive testimony and engage witnesses on a broad variety of issues that the majority has failed to address. Set direction and coordinate efforts to ensure unified and consistent messaging. Edit all publicly facing written products and statements issued by the Committee and the Ranking Member.
