About Chris Marble
Chris Marble is a Project Architect at LRK, working on mixed-use & multi-family projects with a mission of ‘Communities by Design’. Outside of the office, Marble dedicates time to various community groups throughout North Texas. He currently is focusing his efforts with the Urban Land Institute through the 2023 Center For Leadership and mTAP project. Past participation include leading teams in CANstruction Dallas, mentoring high school students through ACE Mentor Program, producing playhouse designs for Dallas CASA, member of the Dallas Arboretum Corporate Advisory Committee, and Chair of the TexProtects Project Treehouse Council. Born and raised in Louisiana, Chris Marble graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a focus on \"Communities by Design\"- receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Arts in Architecture. Marble\'s passion to become a designer for the community started in his home state with a variety of passion projects from designing & building a home with Habitat for Humanity, working as Project Manager for AIAS Freedom by Design organization as well as the Community Design Activism Center(CDAC). Additionally, Marble coordinated community improvement days, fundraised for community projects, and authored the sustainable practice guidelines for CDAC.
