Project Manager for the Arts & Transit Neighborhood Enabling Project at Princeton University. This $42 million, 20-acre project enables the physical transformation of the southwestern edge of campus- For the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Mass. I served as the senior project engineer from the conceptual phase through construction and worked with several architectural firms to develop final permit and construction documents for this new college campus. The development of the college included permitting a subdivision road, crossing of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) Sudbury Aqueduct, relocating a 24-inch regional gas transmission line, relocating parking and a road on the abutting Babson College campus, off-site sewer and water improvements and a complex drainage system- Constructed from 2002 to 2005 and the largest build-out of the Wellesley College Campus since 1921, the West Campus projects have created a new focus for campus life. I was the senior project engineer and project manager for integrated planning, site/civil engineering, transportation, environmental, construction phase and permitting services for the projects- Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager for VHB’s integrated services in support of the Albert Sherman Center (ASC) at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Medical School in Worcester. This center is a (GSF) building housing a wet research laboratory, core research space, administrative space and a vivarium, and approximately GSF of dry space with dry laboratories, teaching areas, a 350-seat auditorium, library, conference center, cafeteria, and support spaces on the Worcester campus. The parking structure design and permitting required close coordination with the Worcester Business Development Corporation, which has rights to construct a biotech building on the site.
