Working within the advanced building control technology division of Honeywell (Heating, Ventilation, AirCon & Lighting), my responsibilities can be summarised in 5 main purposes:1 - Provide management support / cover for sites around UK and EU.2 - The smooth transition of production lines, from EU sites into the Horsham (UK) site.3 - Perform Cross Site Internal Audits - drive improvement actions. 4 - Working closely with our NPI teams to ensure new/evolving products reach the manufacturing lines in a manner that ensures only fully functioning, robust products are delivered to our customers. 5 - Assisting the Quality Manager with all aspects of managing the site QMS.When performing the 5 points listed above, I use the following quality tools to ensure our machines, robots and high-tech toys are running as efficiently as possible, to continuously improve the yield of a large range of building control equipment- Internal Audits, Control Plan, PFMEAs SPC, 8Ds, Kaizens, RPS, etc- Coaching: Six Sigma Green belts, and trainee internal audit teams at various sites across UK & EUWorking closely with my European colleagues, we help our division of Honeywell to continue to supply, install and maintain control systems in over 10 Million buildings across the globe.
