About Chris Lindsay
I love games. I love designing them, playing them, hosting them, teaching them, running them. The games I love most engage me in a story that\'s exciting and they let me collaborate with other players to achieve a goal. Tabletop games, PC games, console games. all kinds of games. I\'m the only person I know who got tennis-elbow from playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band.I started making games professionally in as a freelance designer, and by 2003 I was working for Wizards of the Coast, which became my home for the next 20+ years. When working on a game I love to collaborate with others to build the best possible experience.It was challenging to get into games professionally, so while I was there I wanted to explore ways I could clear a path for others to follow. That path branched out and became the Dungeon Masters Guild and the D&D Adventurers League, where the most dedicated fans could follow their passion.While I worked for Wizards, I made the decision to multi-class, and so I\'m one of the very few who\'s worked in both creative and business. Along with my passion for building communities around games, this gives me a fairly broad perspective.
