Chartered engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers with over 30 years’ professional experience in major civil and geotechnical engineering projects. Last 11 years engaged on three World Class Projects of Crossrail 2.5 years, Northern line Extension 3 years and currently Mott MacDonald project lead for the Thames Tideway Tunnel Eastern Section for the last 5 years. Worked in Europe and Asia undertaking the roles of Senior Project Manager, design team leader and resident engineer. In 2004 established structural and geotechnical investigation business providing engineering services for the insurance industry. Presently Project Director with Mott MacDonald.From Feb 2019, Construction Design Lead at Thames Tideway East, for the Costain Vinci Bachy JV. constructing five, 70 m deep shafts, SCL launch adits, TBM bored tunnels, portals and CSO structures. MML project lead since Feb 2022.April 2016 to Sept 2019, MM Site Lead (Design) on the Northern Line Extension (NLE) £800M project, comprising two stations, vent and access shafts and 5km TBM of bored tunnel. Mayor contributor to two schemes of OM implementation.2013 to 2016, MM site lead (Design) for Crossrail Liverpool St Stn. with contractors BNK, BBMV and Laing O\'Rourke. The £450M project comprised diaphragm walling, large diameter piling, reinforced concrete ring beams/ lining walls, shaft instrumentation and dewatering/pressure relief of the soils at depth. Responsible for the accelerated programme construction sequence for the Moorgate shaft, incorporating reverse Observational Methods and verification points to allow successful TBM transit.
