Helping older people with technology in Newquay and the area. Working with a variety of tools, including printers, routers, phones, and all the basic tools that they might want to develop. I have deep knowledge in Investments having worked in the pension fund industry in Canada for 6 years in customer success, research and project management.I\'m a multipotentialite (someone with diverse interests and expertise across multiple fields) who thrives at the intersection of technology, education, and human connection.My business, Computer Says Kernow is a play on the words \'Computer Says No\', a Little Britain skit.I left a well-paying bank job in Canada to become a teacher in New Zealand, teaching computer science, positive psychology, PSHE, maths, and science for 15 years, then moved to China and Malaysia to teach at British international schools. During 18 years in education, I mastered Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, taught myself programming, managed school websites, and served as MIS Manager of PC School for 6 years (reports, backups, automated processes).Originally from Canada, I learned French through seven years of immersion and still converse fluently. In Asia, I taught myself Mandarin ().My Approach:I\'m part journalist, part counsellor, part coach—actively listening and using open-ended questions to help people break through obstacles. My latest deep dive is Human Design, where I\'ve discovered I\'m a Manifestor who excels at initiating conversations and empowering others.I see technology through a human lens, understanding where people struggle and teaching exactly what they need. Whether updating WordPress sites, setting up email systems, using Power Automate, teaching mail merge, or troubleshooting tech challenges, I make technology accessible because I genuinely care.Continuously Evolving:I\'ve completed two Ironman triathlons (11:45 finish), done hypnotherapy, and maintain wellbeing through Buteyko breathing, EFT tapping, and men\'s group work. I\'m supporting my wife\'s startup on the technical side and use AI daily while remembering technology exists to serve people.I\'m looking for opportunities where I can blend technical expertise, coaching abilities, cultural adaptability, and genuine care for people\'s success—bringing creativity, empathy, and patience.
