Chris Turner is Chief Executive Officer of Yum! Brands, responsible for leading the Company’s overarching strategies, structure, people development and culture to drive global growth, sales and profitability across all Yum! franchise businesses worldwide. Turner previously served as Yum! Brands’ Chief Financial & Franchise Officer, with responsibility for finance, corporate strategy, supply chain, franchise standards and support. Since joining Yum! in 2019, he has been instrumental in driving bold actions that leverage the Company’s scale, including the creation of Byte by Yum, an AI-driven restaurant technology platform; the launch of a global Supply Chain Center of Excellence; and new brand innovations. He has worked closely with the Yum! leadership team to accelerate digital transformation, expand unit development, strengthen franchisee partnerships and deliver strong shareholder returns. Before Yum, Turner held senior leadership roles at PepsiCo, including leading PepsiCo’s Walmart retail and e-commerce business across the U.S. and more than 25 international markets, as well as transformation and strategy leadership roles at Frito-Lay North America. Earlier in his career, Turner spent over 13 years as a Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising leading companies across retail, restaurants, consumer packaged goods, airlines, high-tech and media.
