About Chris Lazo
I lead Demand Generation at Luma Health, an AI company helping health systems fix access to care and eliminate manual work for staff. My job is to build growth systems that actually move revenue, not just ship campaigns or decorate dashboards. Most of my work lives in the messy middle: enterprise healthcare, complex buying groups, long sales cycles, and EHR-driven realities that don’t care about your funnel model. Over the last few years, I’ve focused on building repeatable, EHR-aware, account-based engines that connect marketing, sales, and product into one coordinated motion.A big part of that has been building what’s effectively an internal media and GTM engine - podcasts, video, product stories, and field content - not as “content,” but as a system: mapped to real deal blockers, wired into sales motion, and designed to compound instead of spike.I’m a systems thinker by default. I look for patterns, feedback loops, and leverage. I like turning big, fuzzy growth problems into frameworks, loops, and defaults that scale beyond any one person (including me). If something only works because one hero stays late, I don’t trust it.I care about a few simple things: Revenue > vanity metrics Systems > one-off heroics Clarity > complexity Building machines that keep working after you walk awayOutside of work, I run BermudaDad: a fast-growing lawn care and backyard brand where I apply the exact same thinking to content, audience, and compounding. It turns out the internet and Bermuda grass both respond very well to consistent systems and mild obsession 🤪 Find me on TikTok or Instagram. I’m a husband, a dad, a backyard griller, and unreasonably opinionated about mowing height. If you’re trying to build a serious growth engine without taking yourself too seriously, we’ll probably get along. I

bermudadad on TiktokI wanted to see how long it would take me to go viral talking about something as strange as Bermuda grass. It took me 8 days. Since that first viral video, I’ve grown the channel to nearly 30k in several months, generating an average of 1/2 million views every week. All as a hobby. Across industries I’ve gotten to see that even the most obscure topics can go viral, as long as you study your audience, commit to consistency, and don’t let old fashioned marketing committee teams convince you that it’s not going to work. Brands I’ve worked with- The Andersons Home and Garden- Simple Lawn Solutions- Southland Organics- Greenworks- Petratools- Melnor
