In 13 years as a technician for Pacific Coast locators, I\'ve encountered many challenges, each one teaching me another important lesson about my field. Working as a utility locating tech, my passion for this job has increased. I find it rewarding to search for something that\'s elusive and then feel gratification knowing that I\'ve found it through my investigative efforts. I take pride in the work that I do and I love being in the field all day every day. This job is where I spend the most of my life. We have to jump through a lot of hoops to stay up to date on all of our certifications, but it\'s all part of the requirements needed to do high profile jobs.
