Chris Jeter is a founding partner of Massillamany & Jeter LLP. Mr. Jeter is a well-respected litigator and business advisor with a decade of experience representing companies of all sizes in a multitude of legal issues before state and federal courts nationwide. He specializes in complex business/commercial disputes, consumer financial services litigation, director/officer liability, securities fraud, product liability, and general civil litigation. He also represents county and municipal governments in a wide variety of legal and non-legal issues. Mr. Jeter represents veteran-owned small businesses and helps them grow, expand, and secure government contracts.Prior to founding Massillamany & Jeter LLP in 2015, Mr. Jeter was an Associate Attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where his practice focused primarily on defending large companies, banks, and financial institutions in commercial litigation, products liability, and other high-dollar legal matters.Before joining Barnes & Thornburg LLP, Mr. Jeter served on active duty in the United States Navy as a Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) Officer, and he continues to serve in the United States Navy Reserve.
