Chris’ current role is the Risk Manager for the Box Encapsulation Plant being delivered by the Amentum, BBK Joint Venture. BEP is a large, complex, EPCC project with a value of £1.5bn. The plant will process intermediate-level waste from a variety of legacy ponds and silos into safer storage conditions. o Create and implement the risk management plan for the BEP project to deliver an effective risk service. o Lead and facilitate risk workshops for both threat and opportunity identification, assessment and planning of response strategies. o Undertake regular QRSA model to support forecasting and BEP stakeholder reporting. o Drive improvements in risk awareness across the project and reporting through the use of Power BI

I am an ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic Risk Manager with over 14 years of experience in risk management and complex project delivery My current role is the risk manager on the Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) Project. BEP is an EPCC project being delivered by a Amentum / BBK joint venture and one of the largest and most critical major projects on the Sellafield site. This role involves: • Define, implement and maintain the risk management strategy for the project; • Facilitate risk and opportunity workshops to capture, analyse and act on project threats and opportunities; • Work with planners and estimators to produce risk schedules,• Map risks to the specific activities and create QSRA risk models;• Execute QSRA to generate probabilistic out-turn dates and costs, including a variety of scenarios to provide greater confidence to the Project Manager for forecasting.• Implementation of new risk management reporting platforms.This is bundled in with day-to-day support for the wider project in any other related risk matters.Before transitioning into risk management, I managed a portfolio of challenging multidiscipline projects in support of Urenco UK LTD.
