ABOUT CHRIS HUGHES
I have practiced public accounting since 2009. I provide audit and consulting services to clients in the financial services industry, primarily mortgage banking companies, public and privately held community banks, credit unions, and other specialty lenders. I assist clients with technical accounting issues and implementing accounting policies and procedures. I have extensive SEC reporting experience in addition to experience conducting audits of internal control over financial reporting and audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. I also have experience performing compliance audits for financial services entities, including HUD, GNMA, as well as USAP, and Regulation AB examinations. I am a member of the Moss Adams Financial Services Group and provide ongoing staff training and development and I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
